5 years agoWith the overhaul in receiving corps this offseason, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is in a prime spot to bounce back to fantasy relevance in 2019. Jared Cook's departure is a significant blow after leading the team in receiving yards last season, but the additions of Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams will undoubtedly pick up the slack left in his absence. Carr will also be backed behind an improved offensive line and an upgraded rush attack with first-round rookie Josh Jacobs to hand the ball off to confidently. The 28-year-old struggled with consistency in 2018 throwing 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, but only threw two picks since Week 6 with both coming in the season finale in Week 17. Carr can be drafted as a QB2, but has a higher ceiling in a revamped offense and could assert himself as a steady quarterback to stream if he finds the chemistry with his new teammates.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
