The 25-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable resurrection this season. Gurriel was batting .175 with no home runs through 40 at-bats in March and April. After he returned from Triple-A Buffalo on May 24, he is batting .322 with 16 HRs, 30 RBI, and four stolen bases.
