DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/29/19): MLB DFS Lineups

Monday's schedule in Major League Baseball has a total of seven games starting after 7:05 p.m. ET. Be sure to double-check the weather and the lineups before finalizing your roster.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/29/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too.

If you have any questions or comments, contact me on Twitter @danieledobish.

Today's Weather

The winds will be light and variable across all of Monday's MLB venues, and there is a less than 10 percent chance of precipitation across all parks. Enjoy the worry-free day!

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Sonny Gray - P, CIN vs. PIT ($9,400)

Gray has a 5-6 record overall this season, but a strong 3.29 ERA across his 109 1/3 innings over 20 starts while striking out 127 batters. He has also ticked off five consecutive quality starts while striking out at least six batters in six in a row. The Reds have a favorable matchup against RHP Jordan Lyles, as the Bucs are 0-8 over his past eight outings, 0-4 in his past four on the road and 0-7 in his past seven inside the division.

Thomas Pannone - P, TOR at KC ($5,500)

On a normal night, you wouldn't consider Pannone, but the southpaw has a favorable matchup on a very light night in the majors. He made the start last time out, allowing four earned runs, five hits, and two walks in 4 1/3 innings in a loss, but that was also at Boston. Look for a much better performance against the lowly Royals. Using Pannone will allow you to stock up on stud hitters across the board.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Kevan Smith - C, LAA vs. DET ($3,600)

The backstop crop isn't terribly exciting on Monday night. Use Smith, who received a routine day off on Sunday. He has been going hard since Jonathan Lucroy (nose) to injury. Miami's Bryan Holaday ($3,200) is also on a 10-game hitting streak, and worth a look as a low-priced option.

Joey Votto - 1B, CIN vs. PIT ($4,000)

Votto has been fumbling along with a .258/.345/.395 slash line. Over his past 10 games, he has a pair of doubles, a homer and seven RBI with six runs scored, as he is slowly showing some signs of life. It isn't a huge sample size, but Votto is 7-for-16 (.438) with two doubles, two homers and a 1.528 OPS against Lyles of the Pirates.

Ketel Marte - 2B/OF, ARI vs. MIA ($4,600)

The All-Star Marte, who can also be used in the outfield, leads all available 2B on Monday with 9.7 Fantasy Points Per Game (FPPG), yet he is the fourth-most expensive on the board. He is a tremendous value, and it won't take much to meet or exceed his DFS salary expectations.

Eugenio Suarez - 3B, CIN vs. PIT ($5,100)

If you're using a Cincinnati stack, you'll definitely want Suarez as part of your lineup at the hot corner. He hasn't been killing it in the average department, hitting just .252 overall, but he has rolled up 17 doubles, a triple and 28 homers with 69 RBI and it isn't even August yet. Suarez has emerged as one of the more unheralded power hitters in the game.

Niko Goodrum - SS/OF, DET at LAA ($4,000)

Goodrum heads into this one in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, going 10-for-31 (.323) with two homers, four RBI and two runs scored while posting a respectable .645 slugging percentage.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Cody Bellinger - OF, LAD at COL ($5,800)

With so many values up top, you'll want to spend heavily on the outfield positions. Bellinger playing at Coors Field is a slam-dunk play. He is 12-for-42 (.286) with four doubles, a triple, four homers and 10 RBI against Colorado pitching this season, with three of those homers coming in 30 at-bats in Denver.

David Dahl - OF, COL vs. LAD ($4,800)

Also in the game at Coors, look to the home dugout. Dahl enters the day with a .303/.355/.518 slash line with 27 doubles, four triples, 14 homers and 58 RBI across 357 at-bats. His .303 batting average ranks sixth among all major league outfielders. He's even better at Coors, hitting .355 with 15 doubles, a triple, eight bombs and 28 RBI across 172 at-bats while posting a stellar 1.004 OPS in his home park.
