6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin will start and hit seventh Wednesday against the Tigers. The Angels have opted use Mike Trout at DH which opens up the lineup for Goodwin to start for the second straight day. Goodwin hit leadoff on Tuesday and went 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI and is having an excellent month of July despite a decrease in playing time. Goodwin is hitting .389 over his last seven games played and is 14-for-41 (.341) over his last 15 games played. Goodwin's fantasy value is in DFS tournaments only right now due to his lack of playing time behind Mike Trout, Justin Upton and Kole Calhoun.--Joey C - RotoBaller
