5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Chad Beebe caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's win over the Seattle Seahawks. Beebe played just 12 offensive snaps in the game and has seemed to emerge as the favorite for the third receiver role behind Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Jordan Taylor and Brandon Zylstra remain in the mix, but it's been Beebe who is leading the charge up to this point. Beebe has also been contributing on special teams in various roles, including as the potential holder for the field-goal unit. Beebe had four catches for 39 yards in three games as a rookie, but he seems to be in line for an expanded role this coming season. However, Beebe is unlikely to draw enough targets to warrant fantasy consideration this year as the distant third (at best) receiving option in the Vikings offense.
