Kyle Rudolph Held Without Catch
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph had a quiet game on Saturday, failing to haul in a catch and registering just one target in the contest. Rudolph is the starting tight end for the Vikings, but rookie Irv Smith Jr. could have a role as a receiving threat and Rudolph has disappointed in the past two seasons. He had 64 catches, averaged a paltry 39.6 receiving yards per game, and scored just four touchdowns in 2018. That being said, Rudolph finished as TE9 last year in what was a brutal season for tight ends and enters the year as a touchdown-dependent TE2. He's currently being drafted 144 overall (TE14).
