5 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Nick Solak went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Orioles Thursday. Solak also walked in the game and scored two runs. The rookie is off to a hot start to his MLB career batting .321 through his first 16 games. Solak has great plate discipline for a young player having posted an 11.2 percent walk rate in Triple-A this season which resulted in a .353 on-base percentage. Solak is a fantastic add in fantasy with three more games this weekend against an Orioles pitching staff with the highest team ERA in the Majors.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
