5 years agoTexas Rangers rookie second baseman Nick Solak went 3-for-4 with four RBI in a win over the Orioles Sunday. Solak also walked twice and scored a run in the one-sided affair in Baltimore. The rookie has been simply phenomenal in his brief stint in the Majors slashing .333/.451/.524 with 13 runs scored and 11 RBI in 19 Big League games. Solak has the skill set to back up his success as he has always had good plate discipline, he had a career 11.1 percent walk rate in the minors, and he's sporting a 90.1 MPH average exit velocity so fat in the Majors.
