Dalvin Cook Productive Despite Offensive Struggles
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook delivered a solid fantasy performance on Sunday, rushing 14 times for 35 yards and a touchdown and catching six-of-eight targets for 35 yards in a 16-6 loss to the Chicago Bears. Though Cook didn't deliver a monster rushing line, fantasy owners will surely take his six receptions and a garbage-time touchdown in what was a brutal day for the Vikings offense as a whole. Cook's 410 rushing yards is just one yard behind the current leader (Christian McCaffrey), and he's tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns with five. Cook should see a healthy dose of touches against the unimposing New York Giants in Week 5 and needs to be started as a high-end RB1 in that matchup. He's also in play for daily formats as both a cash and a tournament option.
