Vikings Defense Poised For Useful Week 5
5 years agoThe Vikings Defense is in line for a productive Week 5 on the road against the New York Giants. The Giants have rookie quarterback Daniel Jones commanding the offense and he has looked solid, posting a 2-0 record against subpar competition (@TB, vs. WAS). The Vikings have a substantially better defense than the Bucs and the Redskins and they should be able to generate plenty of pressure on the rookie, which will lead to mistakes being made and turnovers being forced. Wide receiver Golden Tate is back from his suspension, but the Vikings secondary has the talent to suppress this passing attack and Wayne Gallman isn't likely to have a big day on the ground either. Start the Vikings as a top-tier defense in Week 5, and they're certainly worth a look as an option in daily formats.
