Stefon Diggs Catches Four Passes For 44 Yards
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught 3-of-4 targets for 44 scoreless yards in Week 5's 28-10 win over the New York Giants. Diggs was recently fined over $200,000 for his unexcused absence from practice and both Diggs and Mike Zimmer were noncommittal of his playing status throughout the week, but he started and played a full complement of snaps on Sunday. Here's what Diggs had to say about his relationship with the Vikings after Week 5: "It was never not good. Outside people got things a little shaky but at this point I'm a team guy, I'm here and I want to win." Though things seem to be steadying, Diggs has had a disappointing start to the season as Adam Thielen has emerged as the featured option in the passing attack and his low target share continues to be an issue. Diggs will be a high-end WR3 with upside against the Philadelphia Eagles and their brutal secondary in Week 6.
