Vikings Defense Is A Low-End Starting Option Against Eagles
5 years agoThe Vikings Defense is a unit that you're generally starting regardless of the matchup, but expectations should be lowered slightly for Week 6's home tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles. Carson Wentz and company rank seventh in the NFL with 28.2 points/game and have a few dangerous weapons in Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz, and Miles Sanders. They've scored 31 (vs. NYJ) and 34 (@GBP) points in their last two games and haven't scored less than 20 points in a game so far this season. The Vikings are allowing 13 points/game in two home wins this season (Falcons and Raiders) and have compiled 15 sacks, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and a safety in 2019. Start the Vikings Defense as a low-end option in Week 6, though this is a week where you could consider streaming a defense with a more favorable matchup.
