Kirk Cousins Is A Decent QB2 Option In Week 6
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins could be in line for a second straight usable fantasy performance in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Though the Eagles have the fourth-best pass rush (per PFF), they've been decimated by injuries to their secondary and had allowed the fourth-most passing touchdowns (nine) prior to facing Luke Falk in Week 5. They also have been very stout against the run with a league-low 2.81 yards per carry allowed, meaning the Vikings will likely need to win this game through the air. Both Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs have extremely winnable matchups - Cousins just needs to buy enough time to get the ball out. Start Cousins as a mid-to-high-end QB2 in Week 6 for standard leagues. He can also be considered as a cheap (low ownership) option in daily formats to allow you to differentiate and spend up at other positions.
