Alexander Mattison Is An RB4 In Week 8
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison has gotten at least seven carries in five of seven games this year, though he hasn't quite emerged as a player to consider starting, as he's still the clear backup to Dalvin Cook. That being said, Mattison could be in line for a sizeable workload this week, as the Vikings are favored by 16 points in a home matchup against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins Defense is more vulnerable through the air, but the Vikings will undoubtedly lean on the rushing attack, as they still run at the second-highest rate in the league. Start Mattison if you're in desperate need of a deep league flex option, as there's a good chance that he sees at least 10 carries and does something meaningful with them. He's also not the worst dart throw in daily formats if you're multi-entering into tournaments.
