Caris Levert Goes For 20 Points In Season-Opening Loss
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets shooting guard/small forward Caris Levert appeared to be the clear-cut No. 2 scoring option during the team’s season-opening defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Levert got up 19 shots, finishing with 20 points while adding in five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Kyrie Irving stole the show with a 50-point performance, but Levert also looks to be in line to benefit from the 2019-20 season likely being a Kevin Durant-less year for Brooklyn. His high DFS price tag might have some owners shying away, but in traditional formats the fourth-year wing should be a tantalizing option should he stay healthy.
