5 years agoIndiana Pacers point/shooting guard Malcolm Brogdon acclimated himself to his new franchise in impressive fashion during Wednesday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, compiling 22 points and 11 assists across 36 minutes. In addition to the dazzling offensive performance, the defensive tenaciousness that made Brogdon a highly-valued commodity was also on display. Indiana’s new point guard knocked 10 free throws in his first contest with the team, also adding three rebounds. He next takes the floor Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who boast a young backcourt that appears unlikely to slow down his consistency.--Jesse Borek
