Luke Kennard Drops Career-High 30 Points In Win
5 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Luke Kennard was instant offense off the bench during Wednesday’s season-opening win over the Indiana Pacers. Kennard set a new career high with 30 points, tying his career best with six made triples across 28 minutes. The Pistons boast a plethora of wings that will jockey for minutes throughout the year, but the southpaw sharpshooter from Duke is the unquestioned best long range threat that the team has, giving him the inside edge as it pertains to time on the floor. He may not be as electric on a nightly basis, but Kennard is worth a look in deeper traditional leagues and in DFS for his deft shooting touch alone.
