5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Al Horford was close to his first double-double of the season on Saturday, finishing a road win at Detroit with 23 points and nine rebounds. He shot 9-for-18 from the field and nailed two triples in 34 minutes on the floor. Horford also moved the ball well, finishing with five dimes. The experienced center struggled in the season opener against Boston, but it was an emotionally difficult matchup for him. He did much better against the Pistons, and he'll now have some momentum ahead of a meeting with another former team as the Sixers head to Atlanta.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
