5 years agoChicago Bulls center Wendell Carter Jr. entered Monday’s contest against the New York Knicks with a thumb issue that popped him up on the injury report, although it didn’t appear to hamper him whatsoever during his 20-point, 10-rebound evening. Carter saw just 28 minutes, but finished 7-for-9 from the floor during that stretch, also adding three blocks and two assists to boost his performance. The second-year big man has yet to exceed the 30-minute mark in any of his four contests this year, yet remains a consistent rebounding threat as the only true center in the Chicago rotation.--Jesse Borek
