Dennis Schroder Posts Second Straight 20-Plus Point Performance
5 years agoDennis Schroder was the second-best guard in an Oklahoma City Thunder uniform on Monday night. In a 116-112 loss to the Houston Rockets, Schroder had 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes. The 34 minutes tied him with Chris Paul for third-most on the team, and Schroder thoroughly outplayed him over the course of the game. In the second quarter, Schroder was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, including 2-for-2 from the three-point line. This is coming one night after Schroder put up 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday evening. Schroder won't take Paul's starting spot unless there is a trade or injury, but the minutes he is seeing off the bench make him a great option for fantasy rosters looking for a productive guard.
