5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball was very close to posting a second consecutive double-double, finishing Monday's loss to Golden State with 12 points and nine assists. He also had two steals and four rebounds, while shooting 4-for-10 from the field and 2-for-6 from three-point land. Ball has improved his shooting a lot over the summer and he has made at least two treys in all four Pelicans games with an overall 36.7 percent efficiency. He's in a good spot to perform well again on Thursday against the Nuggets, who have so far been a mediocre defensive team against opposing point guards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
