Vikings Defense Is Not In A Prime Week 9 Spot
5 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings Defense could be catching a break with 2018 MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes (kneecap) looking likely to miss another week. Veteran Matt Moore will start in his absence, though the Chiefs still put up 337 yards and 24 points in his start last week against a solid Green Bay Packers Defense. The Chiefs have a plethora of weapons in Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Travis Kelce, and LeSean McCoy and they all have the ability to score on any given touch. This matchup is also projected to be among Week 9's highest-scoring games, further weakening the case to start the Vikings Defense on the road. Look elsewhere for a more favorable matchup in Week 9 if you can afford to.
