Stefon Diggs Has Winnable Matchup In Week 9
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been the clear beneficiary from the substantially improved play of quarterback Kirk Cousins. Diggs has 21 catches for 453 yards and three touchdowns over his last three games, a stretch in which he is also averaging an absurd 21.57 yards per catch. The Chiefs Defense has performed admirably against receivers so far this year, but Diggs has the speed advantage over his potential cornerback matchup (Bashaud Breeland) and his recent form should give you confidence in his Week 9 projection. Wideout co-star Adam Thielen (hamstring) should be back in Week 9, which could slightly lower his target share but should also result in less bracket coverage. Start Diggs as a high-end WR2 against the Chiefs.
