Russell Westbrook Fills Up The Box Score In Brooklyn
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook contributed all across the board for his fantasy owners on Friday night. In a 123-116 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Westbrook had 27 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, four steals and one block. At this point, we should expect Westbrook to average a triple-double, and that is exactly what he is doing for the fourth season in a row. His shooting percentages from the field and three-point land are a tick above his career averages, as he continues to show no ill-effects of joining another high-usage player in James Harden. Westbrook will take his talents to South Beach against a better-than-average defense in the Miami Heat team to close out Week 2.
