5 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis came just a rebound shy of snagging a double-double during Friday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. While the effort was a solid one all around, including 16 points and nine rebounds, DFS owners will likely need more from the 7-foot-3 Latvian at his current price tag. Porzingis shot 6-for-16 from the floor and was unable to add any additional stats to pad his line. Fortunately, he’ll remain the unquestioned No. 2 scoring option alongside Luka Doncic for Dallas moving forward, so his opportunities to score and hit the glass will remain sky high. He’ll clash with Cleveland on Sunday, aiming to return to his double-double ways.--Jesse Borek
