5 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal keyed his team to a win Monday over Detroit by collecting 22 points on 8-for-17 shooting. After a showing Saturday in which he contributed little beyond scoring, Beal added six assists and five rebounds to his performance Monday, even as he turned the ball over five times. Washington is sixth in the league in scoring (116.8 per game), which bodes well for Beal’s fantasy potential as the year carries on. There likely won’t be many nights in which Beal is not the team’s leading point man, as he will benefit from all of the shots that he can handle.--Jesse Borek
