5 years agoDespite a slow start to Monday’s contest against the Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond finished with another gaudy all-around fantasy performance. Drummond shot just 6-for-20 from the field, but recorded 15 points in addition to his season-high-tying 24 rebounds. As has become custom for the Pistons’ early season MVP candidate, he also contributed across other categories, adding four assists, two steals and two blocks. All eight games that he has appeared in this season have resulted in a double-double and he will look for nine in a row Wednesday versus the Knicks, who are likely to counter with Mitchell Robinson in hopes of thwarting Drummond’s immense impact.--Jesse Borek
