5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Shabazz Napier is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a right hamstring strain. Napier has been uber-aggressive off the bench through his first six contests for Minnesota, having averaged 7.8 points and 4.5 assists across 22.2 minutes per game. Without Napier in the mix Wednesday, the team may be forced to deploy Andrew Wiggins at point guard as Jeff Teague (illness) is listed as questionable. Barring a sudden turn of events, Napier’s next chance to return comes Friday versus Golden State.--Jesse Borek
