Dillon Brooks Erupts For 31-Point Showing In Victory
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies shooting guard/small forward Dillon Brooks was clicking on all cylinders during Wednesday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, needing just 16 shots to collect 31 points, the second most in a single game of his career. Brooks went 9-for-16 overall, knocking down five triples on seven attempts, giving him his most points in an outing since April 11, 2018. The third-year wing also added four rebounds and two assists. Despite flying a bit on the radar, Brooks has now scored at least 16 points in each of his last three outings and appears to be making a case as a legitimate scoring threat for Memphis. His DFS price is likely to climb, while traditional fantasy owners should keep an eye out Friday when he takes on Orlando.
