FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks
Jacob Eason - Washington - FanDuel $9,000 / DraftKings $6,800
This is a super fun Friday night CFB slate. We have two games with totals over 65 points and four offenses that can score the ball. Our top QB is going to be Jacob Eason. He’s facing off with the worst pass defense on this slate in Oregon State. They allow 253 yards per game and rank 100th in the FBS. Eason has been super consistent this season and it’s fair to expect 250 yards and two or three scores as a floor. He has a multitude of weapons on the outside and they aren't very expensive. Gabriel may have more upside, but Eason is just as safe.
Dillon Gabriel - UCF - FanDuel $10,200 / DraftKings $7,100
Dillon Gabriel is certainly in play tonight, but he’s a distant second for me. Why? It may not seem like sense. UFC is a 17-point favorite and hold the highest implied total on the slate by far. Dillon Gabriel has also been super consistent. All of that is true. It’s also true that Tulsa ranks 40/150 against the pass and 112/150 against the run. I think UCF does a ton of their damage on the ground and I’ll get most of my exposure there. I still think Gabriel goes for 250 yards and two or three scores. Eason is just cheaper with a similar expectation.
FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Running Backs
Salvon Ahmed - Washington - FanDuel $8,900 / DraftKings $6,900
Jacob Eason is the best player on this offense, but Salvon Ahmed opens up this passing game and Washington makes sure to get him the ball. He’s been over 20 fantasy points in two of the last three weeks and has seen 61 carries over that stretch for 285 yards and four touchdowns. You can play both season and Ahmed as I expect Washington to lay close to 40 points in this game. Ahmed also has six catches in the last two games, so they could always hook up for a score as well.
UFC Running Backs
This is a super hard situation to get a hold of. Greg McRae is questionable, which is going to decide whether it’s three or four running backs that get carries here. McRae is the lead back, so if he’s healthy, you have to consider him. If he’s out, Bentavious Thompson, Adrian Killins, and Otis Anderson are all in play. I wish I could just ignore them all with so much congestion, but I think UCF does a ton of damage on the ground and a lot of this slate will be nailing the right guy(s). Full disclosure, any of these guys can go off. If you make me rank them, it’s McRae, Killins, Thompson, and Anderson. If McRae is out, all three are in play.
Jermar Jefferson - Oregon State - FanDuel $8,100 / DraftKings $5,400
Jefferson entered this year as a workhorse back, but the emergence of Artavis Pierce has turned this into more of a RBBC. With that said, Jefferson was fully healthy for the first time in a month last week and he ran the ball 22 times for 105 yards and three touchdowns. The match-up isn’t as good as it was last weekend, but Washington is still in the middle of the road against the run and I prefer Jefferson over Pierce. On the contrary, Pierce is a better receiver and if Oregon State is losing, he may be in the game more. Running Back is extremely tough on this two-game slate.

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers
Aaron Fuller - Washington - FanDuel $8,300 / DraftKings $6,700
There’s no wrong answer between Aaron Fuller and Hunter Bryant. They both see an equal target share and both have similar floors and ceilings. I went with Fuller here as I expect everyone to flock to Bryant after the two-touchdown game. I’ll have exposure to both, but Fuller has more catches on the season and I think he fits this match-up better against Oregon State. Bag for your buck, Fuller is my favorite receiver.
Isaiah Hodgins - Oregon State - FanDuel $10,000 / DraftKings $7,700
On a two-game slate, you absolutely can’t ignore what Isaiah Hodgins has been doing. Washington is a middle of the road defense and Oregon State is still going to put up some points. If you take away two of the tougher secondaries in the nation (Utah and Cal), Hodgins has 27-40 fantasy points in every single game. He sees double-digit targets weekly and while he’s expensive, he’s doable. I won’t say you can’t fade him, but I also won’t say he’s a must because of the price.
Gabriel Davis - UCF - FanDuel $9,200 / DraftKings $7,200
Nothing is wrong with Gabriel Davis. He’s simply been bitten by the variance bug and has had two tough weeks in a row. K.D. Nixon stole a couple touchdowns and the Knights didn’t really need Davis. He should get off the schneid this week and I expect Dillon Gabriel to make it a point to get him the ball. Tulsa is actually tough against the pass, so they may look for the most talented guy on the field in Gabriel Davis to make some plays. I love him in all formats.
Noah Togaiai - Oregon State - FanDuel $6,100 / DraftKings $4,300
You’re going to need to spend down and you have a lot of ways to do so at receiver. None stand out, but Togiai is the guy I think has the best shot at scoring a touchdown in this price range. He was targeted eight times by Jake Luton a week ago and went for five catches and a touchdown. Washington has given up four touchdowns to tight ends on the season and Togiai is a guy I’ll have plenty of exposure to.
Keenen Johnson - USF - FanDuel $6,400 / DraftKings $4,400
Johnson has been super consistent for USF and he’s a great savings option. The Bulls are going to be throwing all game and Johnson has seen 14 targets over the last three weeks. He’s too cheap on both sites and makes for a solid play in all formats.
