Kirk Cousins Is A Middling QB2 In Week 10
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns in Week 9, giving him a sparkling 13/1 TD/INT ratio over his last five contests. Those games came against below-average defenses; Week 10's road matchup against the Dallas Cowboys is quite a different story. The Cowboys Defense has only allowed exactly one quarterback to finish as a QB1 (top-12) and they have a fearsome pass-rush that includes Demarcus Lawrence, Robert Quinn, and Michael Bennett. The matchup projects to be close as Dallas is favored by three, so it's likely that the Vikings will be asking Cousins to throw a decent amount. His string of fantasy production is certainly intriguing, but the difficult matchup and the fact that his top wideout Adam Thielen (hamstring) will be sidelined puts Cousins in the mid-tier of QB2 options in Week 10.
