5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns delivered a 20-point, 14-rebound double-double during Friday’s overtime victory against the Golden State Warriors. Minnesota’s star center has opened the year with six consecutive outings with multiple made threes as Towns knocked down two more Friday, in addition to the four assists that he added across his 36 minutes. He has appears not to have missed a beat since returning from suspension, although he should receive a boost when point guard Jeff Teague (illness) returns. Towns is next set to clash with Nuggets star Nikola Jokic when the two teams meet Sunday.--Jesse Borek
