5 years agoHouston Rockets point/shooting guard James Harden poured in 42 points during his club’s victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. He came just an assist shy of his first triple-double of the season, instead settling for a monster stat line that included 10 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in addition to his nine made three-pointers. Last season, Harden had just four games with at least nine made triples, although with his prevalence of shooting from deep early on in 2019-20, owners can expect him to challenge that mark moving forward. He’ll face an equally porous defensive unit Monday when his Rockets meet the Pelicans, a contest that is sure to produce a plethora of points.--Jesse Borek
