The story of Towns’ massive outing was the 14 triples that he attempted, setting a new career high. The big man has wholly embraced the three-point shot early on in the season, firing up 9.3 attempts per contest, with 3.7 finding the bottom of the basket on average. As for Sunday, he racked up 25 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and two blocks during his 41 minutes of action, delivering another staggering stat line and giving him a double-double in six of his seven outings this year.
