5 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller collected a season-best 24 points across 27 minutes during Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Zeller, who has kicked off 2019-20 as if it will be a breakout year for the 27-year-old, also added seven rebounds while shooting 10-for-13 from the floor overall. Never known as a three-point marksman, Zeller notched just his second career multi-triple game, with the first having come on Oct. 28. It’s an early season nine-game sample size, but Zeller in flirting with the idea of averaging a double-double with 12.9 points (on pace to be a new career high) and 9.8 rebounds per contest. He’s worth a speculative add in medium or deep leagues.--Jesse Borek
