Draymond Green Logs 22 Minutes In Return To Action
5 years agoGolden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green took the floor during Monday’s loss to the Utah Jazz and played 22 minutes following a five-game absence. Green finished with four points, seven rebounds and four assists, going 2-for-7 from the field overall, including 0-for-4 from long range. The three-time All-Star will presumably have a larger offensive role with Stephen Curry (hand) out of the mix, but Green has shot just 40.8 percent from the floor in his first six games and has played more than 28 minutes in just two of those outings. How his offensive game adjusts to the loss of Curry and Klay Thompson (knee) remains to be seen.
