5 years agoBoston Celtics power forward/center Daniel Theis has been tagged as doubtful to participate in Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards due to a sprained pinky finger on his right hand. Without Theis in the mix, Enes Kanter can be expected to pick up the slack, although Robert Williams will also likely absorb some minutes. Theis has started each of Boston’s previous six games and has averaged a modest 6.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest to this point, with his likely next chance of taking the floor coming Friday versus Golden State.--Jesse Borek
