5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point/shooting guard Grayson Allen is still dealing with the effects of a sore left ankle and is unlikely to participate Wednesday versus the Charlotte Hornets. Allen, who has earned a doubtful designation, has missed each of his team’s previous five games. In his first season with the Grizzlies, the second-year guard has averaged 7.4 points per game as a reserve, although any progress that he was making from a fantasy perspective has been halted by his extended absence. His next best opportunity to suit up comes Friday versus his former club, the Utah Jazz.--Jesse Borek
