5 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Isaiah Thomas enjoyed his return to the TD Garden on Wednesday, scoring 18 points and dishing out seven assists in a 140-133 loss. He shot 7-for-14 from the field, including a very good 3-for-6 from downtown. Thomas had managed just 21 points in total in the previous two games, so this will be a nice little confidence booster for him ahead of Friday's clash with Minnesota. It's a great matchup for Thomas, as the Timberwolves are giving up the second-most points per 48 minutes to opposing point guards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
