5 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen went for 18 points and 10 rebounds during Thursday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets, shooting 7-for-10 from the floor en route to his third double-double of the season. Allen, who had played a combined 30 minutes in the past two games, saw 30 on Thursday alone and parlayed that success into an impressive outing. The Nets continue to give minutes to DeAndre Jordan (17) and Nicolas Claxton (17) in the frontcourt, but that duo combined to take just four shots versus Denver. Allen appears to have a stronghold on the starting spot, even as his minutes fluctuate.--Jesse Borek
