5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Shabazz Napier has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets due to a strained right hamstring. Napier’s absence has now reached seven games, leaving Minnesota thin in the backcourt behind starter Jeff Teague. Despite being consistently listed as questionable over the past week and a half, Napier has been unable to return to action and build off the solid six-game start (7.8 points per game) that he had to the season. His next chance to get back on the floor comes Monday against Utah.--Jesse Borek
