5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point/shooting guard Grayson Allen has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to the persistent left ankle soreness that has sidelined him since Nov. 2. The fact that Allen has been ruled out well in advance of tip-off doesn’t bode well for his chances of returning soon, with his spot in the Grizzlies' pecking order likely having dropped off with the play of Tyus Jones and Marko Guduric. Allen’s next chance to return comes Tuesday against Golden State.--Jesse Borek
