Ben McLemore Sinks Quartet Of Triples Again During Victory
5 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard/small forward Ben McLemore has been asked to shoot and shoot often during his three games as a starter for the club. During Saturday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, McLemore hoisted up 16 shots, 11 of which were from behind the three-point line; four found the bottom of the net, giving him back-to-back games with four triples made and at least 20 points to his credit. The 16 shot attempts for McLemore are his most in a contest since March 31, 2017, when he was a member of the Kings. Now without Eric Gordon for the foreseeable future, McLemore appears to have carved out his niche as a volume shooter in an offense all about shooting the ball from long range. He is a definite option to consider in medium-sized category leagues or formats that are field-goal percentage resistant.
