5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred Vanvleet finished with 24 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and one steal on 8-for-18 shooting from the field and 4-for-11 from three-point range in Saturday's 110-102 loss to the Mavericks. The 25-year-old has logged heavy minutes in four games since Lowry's thumb injury — totalling 38, 45, 40, and 38 minutes. On the season, VanVleet is averaging 17.7 points, 7.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds and a team-leading 38.4 minutes per game.
