5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid had a rather pedestrian outing in the blowout win against Cleveland, putting up just 14 points and four rebounds. Embiid only played 22 minutes against the Cavs, a partial cause for his season-low totals in points and rebounds, but we've seen him produce much gaudier stat lines across a similar timeframe. This was a bit disappointing coming on the heels of a dominant 31-point, 12-rebound outing as Embiid failed to gain momentum amid an up and down start to the season. It's best to chock this one in the outlier pile and expect a much more convincing performance Wednesday against the struggling Knicks.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBaller
