Marcus Morris Knocks Down Career-High 12 Free Throws
5 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Marcus Morris went for 23 points during the team’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, spurred to that mark by his ability to reach the free-throw line. Morris, who hit a career-high 12 free throws, has now reached the 20-point plateau in seven of his 14 games this season. One of the few members of the Knicks rotation guaranteed to see a hefty workload on a nightly basis, Morris has put together a career year to this point. He next faces his hometown team -- Philadelphia -- on Tuesday, whom he has averaged 15.1 points per game against in his career, the second most of any opponent.
