5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Shabazz Napier is unlikely to return to action for Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns due to persistent right hamstring tightness. Napier has missed each of the team’s nine previous games, having last suited up Nov. 4. The team has refused to rule him out for an extended period of time, although it appears unlikely that they will get him back before Monday’s outing versus Atlanta at the earliest. Expect Jeff Teague to continue carrying a hefty workload until Napier returns.--Jesse Borek
