5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had his entire offensive arsenal working during Friday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, accruing 24 points on 10-for-18 shooting. His performance marked the sixth time that he has led Oklahoma City in scoring this season, but the first such time since Nov. 5. His 10 made field goals are his most since the club’s second game of the year, although the second-year guard has appeared to have taken the next leap offensively through his first 15 games with the Thunder, averaging 19.7 points per game. He has a favorable matchup Monday when he next takes the floor against the hobbled Warriors roster.--Jesse Borek
