5 years agoMake it five games played, five double-doubles for Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid versus the San Antonio Spurs. Friday was the latest installment of Embiid’s domination in which he totaled 21 points and 14 rebounds in just 28 minutes, adding three assists for good measure. Embiid continues to prove himself one of the league’s more unstoppable weapons when he is able to stay out of foul trouble, heading into Saturday’s meeting with Miami having reeled off double-doubles in four of his last five contests. Per DraftKings, Heat center Bam Adebayo and the rest of Miami are yielding the second-fewest points per game to opposing centers, giving Embiid a tough task on the second leg of a back-to-back.--Jesse Borek
