5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard/small forward DeMar DeRozan did his best to lead his squad to victory Friday versus the Philadelphia 76ers, shooting 12-for-23 from the floor overall en route to 29 points, but it was not enough. DeRozan has now averaged 32 points per game over his last three contests, but the Spurs find themselves having dropped eight in a row. While there are few bets safer than DeRozan getting his buckets, it appears that it's no longer a certainty that he will spend the entire year in San Antonio. Any such deal would be far off on the horizon, which surely won’t affect his trip to Madison Square Garden on Saturday to try and feast on a Knicks squad whom he is averaging 20.8 points per game against for his career.--Jesse Borek
